Monday, October 30th is a teacher workday.

Students are not to wear any costumes to school on Tuesday.

Wednesday Nov. 1st will be the kickoff for our Play it Forward toy drive for Wilson County kids in foster care.  Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy or gift card.  Donations may be dropped off at the school.

Wilson County Schools is hosting a district parent night on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd @ Jones Elementary at 6:30 pm.  Assistant Superintendent Eric Davis will be speaking about how you can become a parent leader in your child's school.

Students in 1st through 5th grade will begin district benchmark assessments next week with the exception of 5th grade who will take their Science Benchmark on Friday.

Looking ahead, Monday, Nov. 6th, we will have a report card pickup from 3:30-6:30.  Our general PTO meeting begins at 6:30 and immediately following, we will host a Math Curriculum Night.  Please come out to support this important event.

Thanks for all of your support so far this school year.  Remember that school starts at 7:55 and it is imperative that students are at school every single day and that they arrive on time.

Thanks again and have a great evening!
